Business Communications Manager 50 (BCM50) is an all-in-one, affordable platform for converged voice and data communications for small to medium business with 3 to 20 users, yet scalable to serve more than 40. The Business Communications Manager 50 provides advanced capabilities such as robust telephony features, voice messaging and unified messaging, IP networking, Internet access, contact centers with skills-based routing, and IP telephony. With an easy-to-use and highly flexible architecture, the Business Communications Manager 50 enables small sites to benefit from convergence capabilities that were previously only available to much larger organizations.

  • Up to 24 IP trunks (license code enabled)
  • 1 Dedicated RJ-45 LAN port

  • Ethernet WAN
  • 3 additional LAN ports

BCM 50 OptionsBCM 50 Expansion
The BCM 50 Expansion chassis allows for the expansion in the number of trunks and stations on any BCM 50.


  • Up to 2 units can be attached to any version of BCM50
  • Expands capacity for trunks, stations
  • RJ-45 LAN port (dual purpose port preservation)
  • Supports existing BCM MBMs:
    • 8 port Analog Station Media bay (ASM8)
    • ISDN30 Digital Trunk Media bay (DTM)
    • ISDN2 Basic Rate media bay (BRI)
    • 16 or 32 port Digital Station media bay (DSM16 / 32)
    • 4 or 8 port Global Analog trunk media bay (GATM 4/8)
